Urn sizes for a CHILD:
One pound of cremains = approx 1 cubic inch. Urnvolume should can range from 7 cu in to 30 cu in.
The inside of a hollowed 2 " sphere -or- a 2" by 2.5" vessel is about 7-8 cubic inches (up to an eight pound child). A 2.5" by 3" tall vessel is 14 cubic inches (up to an fourteen pound child). A 3" by 5" tall vessel is 35 cubic inches (up to an thirty-five pound child).
To accurately measure the interior volume a vessel will hold, fill it with dry rice/beans/etc and then pour back into a 1-to-4 cup measuring device. 1 cup will equal 14 cubic inches of volume.
