COMMITTEES FOR 2026: 

Audio/Visual: Assist with control & monitoring of Monthly Meeting equipment

Gallery Donations: Receipt & inventory control of PRW Gallery Items

Annual Holiday Party: Coordination of Winter Holiday Party (if scheduled)

Club Inventory of Resources: Record & track all PRW physical large equipment and tools, report maintenance needs for equipment

Demonstrator Recruiting: Recruit and follow-up with potential Club Member Demonstrator candidates

Grant/Donation Procurement: Identify & apply for possible financial incentives to assist funding

Home Shop Demonstrations: Host Annual Home Shop demonstration

Librarian: Control of Club video recordings, books, and magazines

Meeting Setup & Cleanup: Direct, Supervise & Oversee the Monthly Meeting Setup & Teardown

Mentors: Recruit & Coordinate PRW Member Trainers & Instructors of New Turners

Monthly Newsletter: Contribute Content to Monthly Newsletter Editor

Nominating Committee: Identify and Recruit potential Board Members by October of each year for November Nomination, and Annual Elections in December

Spring Picnic: Coordination of Spring Picnic held before seasonal Members migration

Photographer: Photo Capture Monthly Meetings, Show & Tell, Exhibitions, and Special Events for distribution in newsletter, PRW website, and social media

Website: Create & Maintain website content to keep all Members informed of upcoming and ongoing events, and create content of interest to Membership

Pro Demonstration Invites: Identify and Recruit non-PRW Woodturning Demonstrators for Presentations during the year

Proportional Drawing: Supervise Monthly Meeting Drawing

Public Displays & Promotions: Research Public Events, and present information to the Board, on Public Events where PRW exposure could benefit the Membership

Sunshine/Hospitality: Bring focus and creativity to improve the culture, morale, and social well-being of the Members, keep contact with physically ailing Members, and spread general good cheer during Club activities

Wood Art Expo: Coordinate with Expo Board on increased PRW participation in Annual Public Event
